The daughter of a Czechoslovakian ballet demi-soloist often traveling the world, and a political dissident often in hiding, Valentina should have skipped childhood and sped straight to jaded cynic.

Especially after her revolutionary father was disappeared by the Communists, and her mother’s glamorous career ended abruptly with a torn meniscus in Vienna, leaving her stealing potatoes from sacks to survive.

She is the source of much of the inspiration for our children’s content. Often, a simple absent-minded phrase spawns a writing frenzy. And then she completes the creation with her trademark scribbles.

She is the co-creator of “Troll Fingers” and it’s sequel “Yeti Feet”, “Laws of the Loo”, “Zoltar the Ladybug”, and “The Boy With The Rainbow Belly”. She remains the inspiration behind the series, “Mixed Up Kids”- now with an animated pilot episode in production through Infinite Studios Singapore.
